This area is littered with scattered ruins and inhabited by creatures that defy death itself -- the undead! These unholy legions are said to serve a powerful master, a centuries-old lich known as Vedroth. The lich-lord inhabits a towering citadel located deep within the Deadlands. Simply reaching the Citadel of the Dead is a dangerous proposition, and few adventurers are brave enough to make this journey.
