====== Nerismorell Winterstar ====== Nerismorell Winterstar, a highborn tactician from the Seelie Courts of the Vale of the Long Night, has found herself in a predicament. Disliked by her peers, she was derisively given the role of Cultural Liaison to the Spiral Tower Academy upon graduation. Incensed, Nerismorell decided to take up the mantle with a vengeance. She has recently traveled to the mortal realms to learn more about the different, alien customs, in an effort to surpass the title she was mockingly bestowed. She finds it close to impossible to hide her obvious distaste for what she perceives as commoners with no redeeming cultural values. Unabashed, she follows a sledgehammer style of diplomacy and tries to bully her way into agreement. To make matters more difficult, she is used to a hierarchical chain of command, and the personal opinions of others matter little to her, unless they are contradictory to her grand vision. Recently she has signed up as a Lockenport Irregular, viewing it as a good opportunity to assess the surrounding cultural milieu while building a more solid, military-style base of operations. She would always volunteer as a natural leader to any engagement, and even though she is poorly suited to diplomacy, she would take a natural command of any combat encounter, where her true tactical genius shines through. When she gets more comfortably acquainted with colleagues, she would reluctantly entrust them with operations more suited to their strengths, including diplomatic negotiations, but she would always keep a watchful, controlling eye over proceedings. ===== About Neris ===== {{ http://cf.geekdo-images.com/images/pic1219262.jpg}} **Were you born in Lockenport, or elsewhere?** I was born to the noble family of Winterstar, in the Vale of the Long Night. **Do you have a big family? Do you stay in touch with them?** My blood relatives are few, but we are from a noble and ancient lineage. Most of my family are schooled in the Eladrin ways of warfare at the Spiral Tower Academy. **What are your religious beliefs?** Corellon guides my spear, and keeps me safe from harm. **Do you have any famous ancestors?** Many, but their names would not be familiar to you and your kind. **What sort of education or training have you had?** I have graduated from the Spiral Tower Academy with many accolades, and am the proudest of my treatise on Tactical Assessment in Small to Medium Group Skirmishes, with an appendix on improvisation through a paucity of magical support. It seems the worlds beyond the Feyrealm might suffer from this predicament. **Do you have a trade (other than "adventuring")?** A trade? Do you know what it means to be of noble descent? I thought not. **Do you have many enemies?** Some are jealous of my superior intellect, I am sure. But it is gauche to dwell on these petty jealousies. **What style of clothes do you favour?** You're asking me about my preference in clothing? These questions are getting quite tiresome. My personal assistant and leal House Guard Theyristra handles such matters. **Have you ever killed someone?** I have vanquished many foes of the Eladrin courts. Are there many more questions after this one? I grow weary of them. **What is your opinion of the Lockenport authorities?** To put it bluntly, I find their customs strange.
