====== Farzel ====== Farzel is a human mage, currently employed at the [[irregulars|Irregulars Guild]] in the city of [[lockenport|Lockenport]]. "Greetings, my name is Farzel and I'm a mage from a little village called Dry'urn, west of the Great Forest. For the past few months I've been traveling the countryside to recover magical tweezers which were stolen from me at Mage Camp. I've searched far and wide and all I've come across are irate purchasers, who have tended to run me out of town. You see, these tweezers will transmute a grain of sand into a grain of gold - unfortunately only a single grain, and once a day - making them largely useless past an initial demonstration. I'm letting you know so you don't fall for the con should someone be trying to sell them here. It is unfortunate that the seller never informs the buyer of the limitations when demonstrating them, so please don't run me out of town - although I enchanted them at Mage Camp, I'm not the person who conned you out of gold for them! Have you seen them or anyone trying to sell them? Do you stay in touch with them?** I have several brothers and sisters back in Dry'urn. My father is a taxidermist and my mother guts fish. I seldom communicate with them as they view magic as a curse and have distanced themselves from me. ** What are your religious beliefs? ** Religion played a large role in my schooling, however I don't subscribe to any one set of beliefs. ** Do you have any famous ancestors? ** My great-great uncle was a (mostly) successful highway robber. The authorities kept his head on a pike for several years. ** What sort of education or training have you had? ** I went to a school for mages (of limited means) and earned my keep doing tricks for the townsfolk on weekends. ** Do you have a trade (other than “adventuring”)? ** I dabble in alchemy and/or entertainment - whichever is more likely to get me lodging and a meal for the night. **Do you have many enemies?** Just one - the cretin who stole my magical tweezers. **What style of clothes do you favour?** Fine cloth and silk is wonderful for relaxing in, however hard wearing clothes are more suited to life on the road and/or fleeing mobs of angry villagers. **Have you ever killed someone?** Not yet. **What is your opinion of the Lockenport authorities?** No opinion yet. ==== Farzel's Journal ====
